Cookie Policy
Cookies, only the ones we use.
Last updated
Anthenos keeps a few small things in your browser: cookies that keep you signed in and secure, which are always on, and — only if you allow them — preference storage that remembers your settings.
If you allow marketing, and only then, Whop’s pixel runs on the pages people arrive by, so we can tell which of our ads and pages lead to sign-ups and purchases. We use no analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back with each request. Local storage and session storage are places in your browser that a site’s own pages can write to: local storage lasts until it is cleared, session storage until the tab is closed. This policy covers all three, and calls them cookies for short.
Everything listed here is kept on Anthenos’s own domain. It is set by Anthenos, except the marketing items, which Whop’s pixel sets on our pages once you have allowed marketing.
The categories we use
- Strictly Necessary. These keep you signed in, protect your account and remember your cookie choice. Anthenos cannot work without them, so they are always active.
- Preferences. These remember settings you chose, such as your appearance. With your permission they are kept on this browser; without it they last only until you close the browser or the tab, and everything still works.
- Analytics. Anthenos does not use analytics cookies or analytics tools, so there is nothing in this category and nothing to switch on.
- Advertising / Marketing. Whop’s pixel and the identifiers it keeps, used to measure which of our ads and pages lead to sign-ups and purchases. Off until you allow marketing, and removed as soon as you do not.
Every cookie and storage item
Strictly Necessary
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__Host-anthenos_sessionCookie | Anthenos | Keeps you signed in, and tells Anthenos which account a request comes from. Set: When you create an account or sign in. | Strictly Necessary | 30 days from when you sign in, or until you sign out. |
__Host-anthenos_google_authCookie | Anthenos | Protects a “Continue with Google” sign-in while it is in progress. Set: When you choose to continue with Google. | Strictly Necessary | Deleted when the sign-in finishes, and gone within 10 minutes in any case. |
anthenos-consentCookie | Anthenos | Remembers the choice you made about optional storage, so you are not asked again. Set: When you accept, reject or save your cookie preferences. | Strictly Necessary | 180 days. |
Preferences
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
anthenos-themeCookie | Anthenos | Remembers the appearance you chose: light, dark or matching your system. Set: When you choose an appearance in Settings or the account menu. Written again to match your cookie choice when you make or change it, and whenever a page finds it would last longer than that choice allows. | Preferences | Until your permission runs out, 180 days after you give it, if you allow functional storage; otherwise until you close the browser. |
anthenos:sidebar:teach-card:dismissedLocal storage | Anthenos | Remembers that you closed the tip about teaching Anthenos new software. Set: When you close that tip with functional storage allowed, or allow it after closing the tip. | Preferences | Until you clear it or your permission ends. It moves to session storage as soon as you withdraw permission, or on your next visit after permission runs out. |
anthenos:sidebar:teach-card:dismissedSession storage | Anthenos | Remembers, for this tab only, that you closed the same tip. Set: When you close that tip without allowing functional storage, or withdraw it later. | Preferences | Until you close the tab. |
Whether you have closed the product tour is kept on your account rather than in your browser, so it does not depend on this choice. Earlier versions of Anthenos kept the appearance cookie for a year without asking; if your browser still has one and you have not allowed preference storage, the next page of the product you open makes it end with your browser session.
Advertising / Marketing
Set only if you allow marketing; without your permission Whop’s pixel does not load, so none of these is ever written.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_wuidCookie | Whop | Whop’s id for this browser. It lets Whop, the ad platform Anthenos measures its ads with, tell that a visit and a sign-up or purchase after it came from the same browser. Set: When a page that reports to Whop opens with marketing allowed: the front page, the prices, signing up or logging in, and the page after a sign-up or a checkout. | Advertising / Marketing | 2 years. Removed as soon as marketing is not allowed. |
_wuid_linkCookie | Whop | The same id, set for the whole of Anthenos’s domain so its subdomains count as one browser. Set: When a page that reports to Whop opens with marketing allowed: the front page, the prices, signing up or logging in, and the page after a sign-up or a checkout. | Advertising / Marketing | 2 years. Removed as soon as marketing is not allowed. |
_wpdCookie | Whop | A test cookie Whop’s pixel writes to find which domain the one above can be set on. Set: When a page that reports to Whop opens with marketing allowed: the front page, the prices, signing up or logging in, and the page after a sign-up or a checkout. | Advertising / Marketing | Deleted by the pixel the moment it has been written. |
_wuidLocal storage | Whop | A copy of Whop’s id for this browser, in case the cookie is cleared. Set: When a page that reports to Whop opens with marketing allowed: the front page, the prices, signing up or logging in, and the page after a sign-up or a checkout. | Advertising / Marketing | Until it is cleared. Removed as soon as marketing is not allowed. |
_wfpLocal storage | Whop | An identifier Whop’s pixel works out from how this browser is set up — such as its screen, fonts and graphics — with how sure it is, so Whop can recognise the browser again if its cookies are cleared. Set: When a page that reports to Whop opens with marketing allowed: the front page, the prices, signing up or logging in, and the page after a sign-up or a checkout. | Advertising / Marketing | Worked out again every 7 days. Removed as soon as marketing is not allowed. |
_wuid_link_domainLocal storage | Whop | Which domain the linking cookie above was set on. Set: When a page that reports to Whop opens with marketing allowed: the front page, the prices, signing up or logging in, and the page after a sign-up or a checkout. | Advertising / Marketing | Until it is cleared. Removed as soon as marketing is not allowed. |
_wuid_link_seenLocal storage | Whop | The last id the linking cookie carried, so each link is reported to Whop once. Set: When a page that reports to Whop opens with marketing allowed: the front page, the prices, signing up or logging in, and the page after a sign-up or a checkout. | Advertising / Marketing | Until it is cleared. Removed as soon as marketing is not allowed. |
whop_verifySession storage | Whop | The id of a Whop install check, so Whop can tell the check’s own page views from everybody else’s. Set: Only when Anthenos is opened from Whop’s install check, with marketing allowed. | Advertising / Marketing | 10 minutes, and at most until you close the tab. |
whop_verify_expires_atSession storage | Whop | When that install check stops counting. Set: Only when Anthenos is opened from Whop’s install check, with marketing allowed. | Advertising / Marketing | 10 minutes, and at most until you close the tab. |
No longer set
Earlier versions of Anthenos set these. Anthenos no longer sets them, but you may still find them in your browser until they expire or are removed.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
anthenos-tourCookie | Anthenos | Remembered that you had closed the product tour on this browser. Your account remembers it now. Set: No longer set. Earlier versions set it when you closed the product tour. | Preferences | Up to a year from when it was set. Removed when you make a cookie choice while signed in, or reject optional storage. |
anthenos-tour-closedSession storage | Anthenos | Kept the product tour closed in one tab while your account recorded it. Set: No longer set. Earlier versions set it when you closed the product tour. | Preferences | Until you close the tab it was set in. |
Marketing, and Whop
We measure which of our ads and pages lead to sign-ups and purchases with Whop’s pixel, a script from Whop’s own address. It loads only once you have allowed marketing, and only on the pages people arrive by: the front page, pricing, signing up and logging in, and the first page after a sign-up or a checkout. It never loads inside your workspace.
It tells Whop that one of those pages was viewed — its address, title and the page that led to it, and only when the address holds nothing but ad parameters — and that an account was created, a trial started or a plan was first paid for, with a payment’s amount. With them go the identifiers in the table above, your browser’s language, time zone, screen size and user agent, and the IP address it connects from. Never your name, your email address, anything you type or anything from your workspace.
When your browser fetches the pixel, Whop’s servers may set their own cookies on Whop’s domain — such as Cloudflare’s bot protection, __cf_bm — under Whop’s policy; those are not on our domain for us to remove. Whop uses what the pixel sends to measure the ads it runs for us and may pass sign-ups, trials and purchases to the ad networks those ads ran on. You can withdraw at any time below or with Cookie settings: the pixel then sends nothing more, and what it kept in your browser is removed. The Privacy Policy explains the rest.
What we do not use
- No analytics cookies or analytics tools: nothing measures how you use the product.
- No advertising pixel other than Whop’s, and that one only with your permission, never inside your workspace.
- No other company’s script, chat widget or embedded content. Our pages tell your browser to refuse them; the pages Whop’s pixel may run on make the one exception, for Whop’s own address.
- No requests to a font service. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so opening a page contacts nobody else.
Your choice
You can allow or refuse preference storage and marketing, each on its own, and change your mind at any time — here, through Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or in Settings when you are signed in. Until you choose, Anthenos treats the question as refused, and Whop’s pixel does not load. Your answer, with the version of this list it was given for and when, is kept in the anthenos-consent cookie for 180 days, after which we ask again; when the list of optional cookies changes, we ask again sooner.
Refusing after you had allowed something takes effect straight away: the appearance cookie then ends with your browser session, a tip you closed is remembered only in the tab you are in, Whop’s pixel sends nothing more, and what it kept in your browser is removed.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of marketing: Whop’s pixel does not load, what it kept is removed, and marketing stays off on that browser whatever is chosen above. Preference storage is not affected.
Cookies set by other sites
Some of what you do takes you to another company’s site, which sets its own cookies there under its own policy. We do not set, read or control them.
- Stripe runs the pages where you pay for a plan and manage billing.
- Google confirms who you are when you choose Continue with Google.
- Composio and the provider you are connecting show their own permission screens when you connect an account.
- Customer portals you sign in to set their own cookies, on their own domains.
Deleting cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see, delete and block the cookies and site data it keeps, usually in its privacy settings. Deleting Anthenos’s cookies signs you out and forgets your choices on that browser, including your cookie choice, so you will be asked again. Blocking Anthenos’s cookies altogether stops you signing in, because the sign-in cookie is strictly necessary.
Changes to this policy
The tables above are drawn from the same list Anthenos checks its own storage against, so they change whenever what it keeps changes. The date at the top of the page says when the rest of this policy last changed.
