Cancellation and Refunds

How plans renew

A plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, depending on the term you chose, until it is cancelled. An annual plan is charged for the whole year, up front. Payments are taken by Stripe. The prices on the price list are:

Trials

• Creating an account starts Free, not a trial or a paid plan, and nothing is charged for it. No card is taken for Free, and there is nothing to cancel until you choose a plan.
• Essential, Work and Company each come with a 7-day free trial of that plan and term. A card is required: the trial starts only when Stripe’s checkout is completed with a valid payment method. An abandoned or failed checkout starts nothing, and nothing is charged. Cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. If you don’t cancel, the plan starts when the trial ends and the card is charged its price.
• A workspace has one trial. Once it has been used — its days, or its usage allowance — choosing a plan starts the plan at Stripe’s checkout, which charges your card that day.

How to cancel

1. Sign in as an owner or admin of the workspace.
2. Open Billing and choose Cancel plan — Cancel trial, during a trial.
3. Confirm once. That is all: nobody asks why, and nobody needs to be contacted.

A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and then ends. It does not renew and is not charged again. A trial cancelled before it ends is never charged. Its plan stays available until the trial’s end date, and then ends. Until it ends, an owner or admin can resume it from Billing, and it carries on as before.

Manage plan, on the same page, opens Stripe’s billing portal for your card, invoices and billing details. While a payment is outstanding, the plan is settled in Manage plan on the Billing page, where the card can be updated or the plan cancelled. If you cannot sign in, write to hello@aethric.llc.

After you cancel

When a cancelled plan ends — at the end of the period already paid for, or at a trial’s end — Anthenos stops starting new work in the workspace. Cancelling does not refund the period already paid for. Everything in the workspace — work items, portals, connections, approvals and history — stays until it is deleted, and you can choose a plan again from Billing. To delete it, use Delete account in Settings; the Privacy Policy says what that removes.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Anthenos pauses new work until the invoice is paid. You can update your card in Billing, under Manage plan.

Usage and extra charges

Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance, shown in Anthenos as a percentage. When it reaches 100%, Anthenos pauses new work until the next month’s allowance begins. Nothing extra is charged, and extra usage is not sold.

Refunds

Anthenos does not issue refunds automatically. If you believe you were charged in error — for the wrong plan, twice, or after cancelling — write to hello@aethric.llc with the workspace’s name, the date and the amount of the charge.
