Acceptable Use Policy

Use it for real work, with real permission.

Effective October 15, 2026 · Last updated October 15, 2026

Use Anthenos for legitimate business work, in portals and systems you are authorised to use. Do not use it to get into anything you are not allowed into, to get around a security control, or to harm anyone.

Where this applies

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Anthenos, and to everything Anthenos does on their behalf: the portals, accounts and systems connected to it, the credentials given to it, and the workflows it runs.

Use only what you are authorised to use

  • Connect only portals, accounts and systems that you are authorised to use, and that you are allowed to let Anthenos use for you.
  • Follow each portal’s and system’s terms, including any limits on automated access. If its terms do not allow Anthenos to work in it, do not use Anthenos there.
  • Give Anthenos only credentials that are yours to give, for the access they grant.

What you may not do

Do not use Anthenos, or help anyone else use it, for:

  • Unauthorised access — to any portal, account, system, network or data, including using Anthenos to access systems you do not have authority to access.
  • Credential theft — collecting, harvesting or using anyone else’s sign-in details, keys or tokens without permission.
  • Malware — uploading, sending or triggering viruses, ransomware or any other harmful code.
  • Phishing — tricking people into revealing information or credentials.
  • Fraud — false invoices, false acknowledgements, false shipment information, or any other deceptive transaction.
  • Impersonation — pretending to be another person or business, or misrepresenting your affiliation with one.
  • Circumventing security controls — getting around a sign-in, a permission, multi-factor authentication, a CAPTCHA, a rate limit or any other control.
  • Breaking access restrictions — reaching parts of a third-party portal or system your account is not meant to reach, or ignoring restrictions its operator sets.
  • Illegal activity — anything that breaks the law, including privacy, sanctions, export and anti-corruption laws, or infringes anyone’s rights.
  • Abusive automated traffic — scraping, flooding or load that a portal or system did not agree to, or volumes meant to disrupt it.
  • Interfering with availability — attacking, probing or disrupting Anthenos or any other service or network, including denial-of-service attempts.

No unattended critical transactions

Anthenos is currently experimental and must not be treated as a reliable or production-ready system for important business operations. Do not use it as your only mechanism to submit or verify invoices, acknowledge orders, fulfil contractual duties, meet statutory deadlines or handle other financially or legally significant work.

Before relying on a result, check the original external portal and your own records. Maintain a human-operated backup process and independently verify all high-impact actions. Automated approval, a displayed success status or a test demonstration is not proof of acceptance by the external system.

Anthenos itself

  • Do not try to get into another customer’s workspace or data, or into parts of Anthenos you have no access to.
  • Do not try to get around your plan’s limits or usage allowance — for example, by creating workspaces to collect more trials.
  • Do not share your sign-in to Anthenos with anybody else.
  • If you find a security problem, report it as the Security page describes, rather than using it.

If this policy is broken

We may stop a workflow, pause a workspace’s work, disconnect a system, remove credentials, or suspend or close an account that is used in breach of this policy, and may report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities where the law requires or allows it. Where practical, we will tell you first.

Reporting misuse

If you think somebody is misusing Anthenos — including in a portal you operate — write to hello@aethric.llc. If Anthenos is visiting a site you run, the Anthenos agent page says how to recognise it.
